So here's one side of the new RBE offices. When this picture was taken it was a wonderful 70 degrees. Now it's 104. So I'm over here, in the other half.
There's been a lot of turmoil between when we last communicated and today, but the road looks fairly clear ahead. Largest foes yet to defeat are the WiFi and cellular connections; victory looks promising for the first, but the last may just be too much to overcome, and so the workaround is installing the first physical landline phone I've had in a decade. That's living in the deep boonies it seems.
As for submissions to RBE's open titles, they are still coming in, thank you very much. I'm reading today, and hope to be caught up with the opening words submissions within the next 48 hours. RBE's First Readers continued to plug away whilst I was away, so after the opening subs, I will move on to the second round reading of full subs. Our primary goal is to have communicated on everyone's outstanding submissions through April 15th by end of this weekend.
We appreciate everyone's patience and continued writing for CRAZY TOWN, CROSSBONES & CROSSES, and SOMEBODY KILL THE PRINCE! There are a number of pending acceptances, and everyone's writing has greatly increased in theme-appropriateness, which definitely makes for better final products all-around! Covers for CT and C&C are shared, it's SKTP! that still requires art and design. I've been seeking the right concept and artist, and opened communications with someone via DeviantArt - we'll see how it goes. And that's a wrap!
